Dr. Erin Cho, DMD, FAGD

Founder & General Dentist – Re·gen Smile Studio

A proud Chicago native, Dr. Erin Cho is a dedicated general dentist with a passion for delivering high-quality, evidence-based care grounded in minimally invasive techniques and long-term health. She founded Re·gen Smile Studio to combine the science of modern dentistry with a personalized, patient-first experience – one that emphasizes both wellness and longevity. As a second-generation dentist, Dr. Erin is proud to practice alongside her father and brother in the suburbs. She was inspired by the warm, family- oriented approach he cultivated in his suburban practice and dreamed of bringing that same family dental practice style to the city.

Dr. Erin earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago through a competitive accelerated program, where she also completed her undergraduate studies. To broaden her training and gain advanced clinical experience with medically complex patients, she completed a General Practice Residency at Evanston Hospital, where she rotated through emergency trauma, anesthesia, pediatrics, and oral surgery.

Dr. Erin is deeply committed to lifelong learning and clinical excellence. She was awarded the prestigious Fellowship in the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD) – an honor achieved by fewer than 6% of general dentists nationwide – after completing over 600 hours of continuing education. She is also a graduate of the renowned Kois Center, where she trained in advanced restorative, periodontal, and occlusal concepts with a strong foundation in evidence-based dentistry.

Her clinical focus includes:

General and Preventive Dentistry
Cosmetic Dentistry, including veneers and aesthetic restorations
Dental Implants and Oral Surgery, with additional training in bone regeneration with PRF therapy (Platelet-Rich Fibrin) , and gum grafting
Clear Aligner Therapy as a Certified Invisalign Provider
Facial Esthetics, including Botox and dermal fillers for both cosmetic and therapeutic use

Outside the office, Dr. Erin enjoys spending time with her husband and their new baby – who, fun fact, is just a few months older than Re·gen Smile Studio itself! Before the baby, you could find Dr. Erin and her husband at local restaurants. Some favorites are Mott st, Etta, Tuk Tuk, Aba and Proxi. For fitness, you can find her at Barry’s Bootcamp and hot yoga.
